OFF-STAGE STYLE WITH DIA FRAMPTON
You’re probably used to seeing Dia Frampton on stage singing her heart out. After touring for years with her band Meg & Dia, becoming the runner-up on the first season of The Voice and releasing her first solo album, she has pretty much become a household name. So it goes without saying that we were extremely thrilled to get a behind-the-scenes peek at Dia’s life and style beyond the spotlight and learn her story.
From a very young age, Dia dreamt of becoming a performer. “I sang around town a lot… wherever they would have me. At the Utah rodeo, the county fair, the arts festival, the street festival, the Electric Theater,” she recently shared on Medium.com. Her small gigs led to larger shows and venues, and before she knew it, she was selling albums in iTunes. After a brief musical hiatus, Dia is back in the game with a new solo album, Bruises, set to release on March 3. “This album took five years to make and I swear I’m giving you every last thing I’ve got.” We’re already listening to her latest single, Crave, on repeat, so we couldn’t be more excited to hear the rest of her songs!
Dia’s off-duty style is a lot like ours: casual and comfortable with a free-spirited feel, which is why she made the perfect muse for our spring collection. But style inspiration isn’t the only thing we’ll be taking from Dia. Her passion for music and never-give-up attitude is something to admire, and we couldn’t be prouder to call her our new friend!
