DESIGNER’S PICKS: JANICE’S TOP PLUS-SIZE TRENDS FOR SPRING

If you’re going to take denim advice from anyone, it should be Janice. Being our VP of design, she sure knows her way around a pair of Silvers. So today, we’re getting the inside scoop from her and sharing what plus-size styles and trends she’s most excited about from the spring collection.

EMBROIDERY

“Embroidery is a huge trend for spring, so I definitely wanted to incorporate it into the collection, but with my personal spin. Florals inspired by my own vintage finds, quotes from some of my team members that really spoke to me. I just love how much it adds to the denim, and hope you all do too.”

Now comes the dilemma—which one to choose? The Mazy Slim Crop (left) is great if you love a high rise and leg-lengthening look. The Elyse Slim Crop (right) is our fan-favorite curvy fit designed with an eased waistband that eliminates muffin top (yes, really). So either way, you really can’t go wrong.

VINTAGE DETAILS

“I love a good vintage jean, but rarely find one that fits well or is comfortable. So I made it a point to design authentic-looking pairs that actually have stretch. Destruction, destroy and a little hem detail can really help recreate that original ‘90s look.”

So which one’s best for you? The Suki Skinny Crop (left) is a best seller no doubt, designed with a perfectly curvy fit, contoured waistband that never gaps and destroyed details like you’ve worn it for years. The Avery Skinny Crop (right) has all the same curve-enhancing features but is crafted high rise for that little extra holds-you-in magic. Plus, the dark wash and step hem makes it so versatile.

So which fit is your favorite? Leave a comment below, and stay tuned for more from Janice coming up this season!
