7 DESTINATIONS TO ADD TO YOUR FALL TRAVEL BUCKET LIST
If there’s one time of year that we love traveling the most, it’s fall. With the weather cooling and the crowds dying down, the top destinations that were filled with tourists over the summer become much more appealing, and affordable for that matter. So, we decided to spend the past few months watching all of our Silver Jeans Co. style influencers travel around the country (and the globe), and curated a collection of the best destinations to add to your fall travel bucket list.
1. Chicago, Illinois
There’s no other city quite like the Windy City. To start, it’s got the picturesque Chicago River running right through downtown. But above all, it’s home to some of the country’s best bars, restaurants and historic landmarks. It’s no wonder Chicago is at the top of our fall travel list.

2. Palm Springs, California
Most people think of Palm Springs as a summer destination. However, we’ll skip the 100+ degree heat and festival-season crowds any day and, rather, trade it for the perfect crisp desert weather that comes around in the fall months. As a result, you can actually enjoy the city and explore without wishing you were in the A/C the entire time.

3. Florence, Italy
The romance and history of Italy is incomparable to anywhere else in the world. Of course, the food and wine isn’t bad either. For that reason, fall is the perfect time to hop from city to city and explore all this country has to offer, including a nice al fresco dinner of course.

4. Orlando, Florida
Let’s just say Florida in the summer is not a great idea due to the constant rainstorms, humidity, high temps—the list goes on. But in the fall, the clouds clear and the weather starts to cool. Therefore, it’s a great time to head down to the amusement park capital of the country and have a fun day at Disney World.

5. New York, New York
Oh, the Big Apple. This city is one of our favorites any time of year, but fall probably tops them all. Since you’ll be doing most of your exploring by foot or public transit, you certainly want the weather to be good. October and November are great months to visit because they’re right before the harsh winter temps roll in.

6. Marrakech, Morocco
Although it may be a bit of a trek for those of us in North America, it’s worth it. To start, Morocco is filled with history, culture and the most stunning design and architecture. But above all, the food here is unlike anywhere you’ve visited before.

7. Austin, Texas
If you haven’t been to Austin, it must be added to your fall travel list immediately. This up-and-coming city is home to some of the best shopping and restaurants, therefore makes it the perfect destination to head to with friends or your S.O. for a long weekend.
